Bulletin for September 27, 2009
We would like to welcome Bro. DiSalvio this morning for the beginning of revival. Revival continues through Wednesday evening.
There are still boxes available in the vestibule for Operation Christmas Child. Put a smile on a child’s face as you share your abundance.
New officers of the church will assume their positions next week.
Children, age 3-5th grade, are invited to attend Children’s Church every Sunday, beginning October 4th. They meet in the Basement Classroom beginning when the morning Church Offering is being taken and ends when Church concludes. Join them for the blessing of worship and fun!
George and Janet Fike invite all to their annual 4-wheeler ride on Oct. 4th at 2:00. Come and enjoy the day – and bring a covered dish. You are invited to join in even if you don’t ride.
There will be a Spaghetti Dinner on October 2nd at the Deep Creek Fire Dept. from 4-7pm. This is to benefit the fire department and cost is: Adults - $7.00; Children(3-10)-$4.00; under 2 free.
Shepherd of the Hills Church will be sponsoring the movie “The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry” at Garrett 8 Cinemas ; October 9-18. “The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry” is an inspiring film for viewers from 8 years old to 80 years old. Actor Kirk Cameron says “‘The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry’ moved me with its message about how one faithful man can make a difference in the lives of many. I recommend this inspiring movie for any family to watch together.” This church is providing us with a great opportunity for a family night out to watch a movie with a message. It is scheduled for Oct 9-18; however if attendance is low the theater may not hold it that long. Take advantage of seeing an inspirational film.
There will be a Spaghetti Dinner on October 2nd at the Deep Creek Fire Dept. from 4-7pm. This is to benefit the fire department and cost is: Adults - $7.00; Children(3-10)-$4.00; under 2 free.
