There will be Bible Study this Wednesday at 7pm and continue through December 17th.
Continue to keep Scott Savage, and all of our military serving our country, in prayer during the Christmas season as they are away from their family.
December calendar:
December 12th – David Winters from Mt. Top Youth for Christ will be doing a short presentation during regular church service.
December 18th – Christmas Program at 7pm.
December 29th - Secret Sister dinner at 6:30.

Today is the first Sunday of the Advent season and we would like to thank the Youth for taking care of the Advent wreath. The Advent wreath is a circular garland of evergreen branches representing eternity. On that wreath, four candles are typically arranged. During the season of Advent, one candle on the wreath is lit each Sunday as a part of the Advent services. Each candle represents an aspect of the spiritual preparation for the coming of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Celebrating with an Advent wreath during the weeks prior to Christmas is a great way to keep Christ at the center of Christmas, and to teach all the true meaning of Christmas.
“This Advent we look to the Wise Men to teach us where to focus our attention. We set our sights on things above, where God is. We draw closer to Jesus... When our Advent journey ends, and we reach the place where Jesus resides in Bethlehem, may we, like the Wise Men, fall on our knees and adore him as our true and only King.”
