There is a signup sheet in the vestibule for the Fair Booth. Passes will be provided to those who are working in the booth. If you have any questions please see Sharon Schlossnagle or Jill McCroskey.
There are still a few cookbooks in the vestibule that are being sold by Pine Grove Church for their scholarship fund. The cost is $10.00; make checks payable to Pine Grove Church College Scholarship Fund. If you have any questions or to pay for cookbooks – please see Fayann. There is a collection envelope for payments with the cookbooks. They appreciate our support for this fund.
The Rodeheaver/Matthews Cousins’ Reunion will be held on August 28th at 1:00 here at the church pavilion. Join in on an afternoon of fellowship and fun and bring a covered dish.
Dottie and Fayann would like to thank everyone for the response to “Christmas in July”. 60 boxes were received.
A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running as fast as she could, trying not to be late for Bible class. As she ran she prayed, 'Dear Lord,
please don't let me be late! Dear Lord, please don't let me be late!' While she was running and praying, she tripped on a curb and fell, getting her clothes dirty and tearing her dress. She got up, brushed herself off, and started running again! As she ran she once again began to pray, 'Dear Lord, please don't let me be late...but please don't shove me either!'
