Bulletin for July 24, 2011
We would like to welcome Ilhami and Anne Konur from Windswept Academy in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. Windswept Academy is where some of our congregation went on a mission trip last year. Anne will be giving an update on the mission before the sermon today. They are a blessing to the people of Eagle Butte and to our own congregation.
There are cookbooks in the vestibule that are being sold by Pine Grove Church for their scholarship fund. The cost is $10.00; make checks payable to Pine Grove Church College Scholarship Fund. If you have any questions or to pay for cookbooks – please see Fayann. There is a collection envelope for payments with the cookbooks. They appreciate our support for this fund.
Just a reminder – send bulletin news to bulletin@emmaus-road.com or call 301-616-5996.

The Oak Grove Sunday School would like to challenge each family to join in “Christmas in July” for Operation Christmas Child. The challenge is for each family to do at least one shoebox to get a jump ahead on the shoebox collection in the months of October and November. Dottie and Fayann are determined to meet Austin Rodeheaver’s goal of 300 boxes in 2011.
“Then shall he answer them, saying, ‘Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.’” Matthew 25:45
