Bulletin for September 18, 2011
We would like to welcome “Gospel Bond” to our service and thank them for bringing the message in song for our Homecoming celebration. Please plan on staying after the service for the fellowship meal.
General Council will be this Tuesday, Sept. 20th @ 7pm.
The nominating committee is still seeking members for positions in the church for the Fall ballot. Search you heart and what God will have you do and put you name on the ballot, we are all members in Christ and should be serving him and the church, not just attending a service and relying on someone else. Pray much for your direction in serving.
Fall Revival is scheduled for September 25-29 with Evangelist Fred Kenner. Please be faithful in attending and INVITE a friend! There is an insert included in today’s bulletin and your commission is to share it with one person this week in preparation for revival. “Then [Jesus] said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field." Matthew 9:37-38
Dottie and Fayann would like to have a very quick meeting before Sunday School this morning for all those planning to make the trip to Boone, NC to work with Operation Christmas Child. Plans must be finalized so that reservations can be made tomorrow. Thank you.
