Official Council will be held on September 13th at 7pm and General Council will be on September 20th at 7pm.
There has been a Fuji point & shoot camera lost here at church. Anyone seeing it please contact Fayann. A $20.00 reward is offered. They would appreciate your help.
The nominating committee will be seeking members for positions in the church coming up during our September council. Search you heart and what God will have you do and put you name on the ballot, we are all members in Christ and should be serving him and the church, not just attending a service and relying on someone else. Pray much for your direction in serving.
Mark your calendars now. There will be a movie night on October 30th at 6pm with the movie “Soul Surfer” being shown. More information will follow closer to the time of the event.
Homecoming will be on September 18, 2011 at 11:00 am. “Gospel Bond” from Selinsgrove, Pa. will be singing the best in Southern Gospel and Old Time Favorites. Please don’t miss this concert and invite a friend and stay for lunch afterwards for fellowship. This group will be traveling 4 hrs and 225 miles to sing for you so please make every effort to attend our Homecoming. You will be blessed and renewed as they minister to you in song.
Gospel Bond is based out of Selinsgrove, PA. This group of seven men sings in traditional southern gospel quartet style, but doubles as a band with bass, rhythm, and lead guitars, drums and harmonica. The gospel of God’s saving grace set to music is the bond, which keeps these men on the move.
Special reminder from the Ministerial Board: Fall Revival is scheduled for September 25-29 with Evangelist Fred Kenner. Please be faithful in attending and INVITE a friend!
