There will be a Baptismal service next Sunday, Feb 28th. The service will be at Deep Creek Baptist Church at 2:00.
The Mission group going to Eagle Butte, South Dakota will be selling soup and homemade rolls following service today.
The Jr. Youth bowling party is rescheduled for March 20th at 6:00 at Par-Mat Lanes in Oakland. The youth group will pay for all kids under 18. The cost for adults is $11 which includes your shoe rental, 2 games, pizza and drink. If anyone is planning on attending; please sign up on the sheet in the vestibule.
Bible Study on Wednesday evenings @ 7pm. The study is on “Hell’s Best Kept Secret”. Just a reminder: if school is cancelled or on early dismissal - there will be no Bible Study.
During these harsh winter times, think of your neighbors who may be in need.: Matthew 25:35-40—‘For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’”
