There will be a 50th Anniversary Celebration for Ron & Gaye Rodeheaver today. The celebration will be an Open House from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Deep Creek Firehall. (No gifts please).
Bible Study will be held Wednesday at 7pm. The study is on Philippians.
The Ann Schlossnagle family expresses their appreciation for all of the cards, visits, prayers and especially the love shown to them during Ann’s illness and death.
The Jr. Youth will be collecting school supplies during August and September for the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. They will be going to the Corn Maze on Wednesday the 19th at 6:30 for a hayride, corn maze and campfire. For more information see Missi Bryner or Nicole Fike.
A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running as fast as she could, trying not to be late for Bible class. As she ran she prayed, 'Dear Lord,
please don't let me be late! Dear Lord, please don't let me be late!' While she was running and praying, she tripped on a curb and fell, getting her clothes dirty and tearing her dress. She got up, brushed herself off, and started running again! As she ran she once again began to pray, 'Dear Lord, please don't let me be late...but please don't shove me either!'
