Bulletin for November 1, 2009
There will be a Veteran’s Day Program during the Sunday School hour next Sunday, November 8th.
The Ladies Aide will be hosting a Potato Bar next Sunday, November 8th, following church service. There is a sign-up sheet in the vestibule. Please sign up today so they can get a count for supplies. There will be donations accepted for the Potato Bar.
Bible Study on the book of Ephesians will continue on Wednesday evening at 7pm. There is also a Jr. Youth meeting at 7pm.
The Oak Hill 4-H Club will be having a Buckwheat/Pancake Dinner at the Accident Firehall on Nov 15th from 10-2. Any questions: contact Bradley Rodeheaver.
Deep Creek Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a Buckwheat/Pancake Supper on Friday, November 20th from 5-8pm.
Secret Sisters – mark your calendars now for this year’s Secret Sister Dinner. It will be held here at the church on December 28th.
Operation Christmas Child News:
*Thanks to the Jr. Youth for their assistance with Operation Christmas Child boxes. They collected items and put together approximately 33 boxes to spread the message of Jesus to other children.
*Shoe Box Dedication will be held November 15th.
*There will be a “Packing Party” here on November 16th @10am to get the boxes ready to go on to the next step. If you are able to help please let Dottie or Fayann know. Lunch will be provided.
*Remember to pray for the children who receive these boxes that their lives are touched by God’s love.
