Ladies of the Church – you are invited! Pine Grove Ladies invite you to join them for their Christmas gathering on January 9th from 2-5 at Uno’s. Meal is on your own and bring a $10 jingle gift. Sign up sheet will be in the vestibule until January 3rd.
The Friendsville Community Choir will be performing their Christmas Choral this evening at 7pm. Bring some cookies along for refreshments afterward.
The Secret Sister Dinner will be held tomorrow evening, December 28th at 6pm.
The following is an update that was received concerning the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes that were sent by Oak Grove. Because this year’s boxes were sent by EZ Give shipping, we are able to follow the destination of our boxes:

Our records indicate that your gift boxes went to Madagascar, Zimbabwe, Southwest Asia, Panama, Zambia, Gabon, Central African Republic, Cameroon, and Central Asia. Simple shoe box gifts let hurting children know that they are not forgotten. These gifts may be the first some children have ever received. Along with the smiles and laughter that come with the gifts, children learn about the love of Jesus Christ. This is the power of a simple gift.
