Meet Pastor Phil Matthews
A "P.K." himself, he accepted the call to ministry in 2000. He served Oak Grove as the first Visitation Pastor. Feeling led to do more for the Lord, he was licensed for ministry to the Church of the Brethren on December 16, 2001.
During the next three years, he completed the district's Training Course and became installed as an ordained minister on January 9, 2005. Following the time served as Associate Pastor, he was voted in as Full-time Pastor and he still enjoys the work of the church at Oak Grove today.
Pastor Phil resides in Oakland, MD. with his wife, Vicki and their two children, Megan and Seth.
